Joaquin Oliverio

Senior Vice President

Joaquin is a Vice President at Fall Line and is based in Little Rock, AR. He is involved with underwriting new farm acquisitions and data analysis across the entire Fall Line portfolio in addition to managing farms and sourcing new opportunities within the Mississipi Delta region. He interacts daily with our farm tenants, suppliers and service providers, and is often the first member of the Fall Line team to evaluate new acquisition opportunities. He is also deeply involved in capital improvement projects across our farm portfolio.

Joaquin has a deep background in agriculture, and has been managing farms professionally for more than 10 years. Prior to joining Fall Line in 2016, he had full production management responsibility for over 10,000 acres of farmland in Arkansas, Louisiana and Mississippi, growing rice, corn, soybeans, wheat, cotton and milo. Before that, he managed over 30,000 acres of farmland in three different provinces in Argentina for multiple agricultural companies, including Adeco Agro and Del Monte Fresh Produce.

Soil conservation has always been at the core of Joaquin’s focus as a farm manager. He earned his degree in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Buenos Aires, and he has been a student of cutting edge erosion control practices, many of which have been pioneered in Argentina, ever since. He has significant experience in optimal no-till practices, cover crops, field terracing and other erosion control techniques.
